About

T4 Global is an international training organization working in some of the poorest, hardest-to-reach communities in the world. We come along side and empower local indigenous leaders and churches so they can provide training to their people in order to improve their lives and their communities.

We work primarily among people who can’t or don’t read. Their poverty and rural remoteness mean these “oral learners” are cut off from most opportunities to receive information and training. They often lack basic life skills. Their lives are desperate. They have little hope.

We overcome the barriers that prevent many oral learners from realizing their full potential. Barriers such as:

  • Significantly different worldviews, cultural norms and languages;
  • Literacy-based training resources;
  • Limited access and infrastructure for training;
  • Extreme poverty;
  • Restricted human rights; and
  • Lack of leadership development.

Our training process brings transformation to these communities because we:

  • Build the capacity of our local partners to lead and affect change themselves (read more: sustainability);
  • Develop content designed to build healthy and consistent worldview, knowledge, attitudes and behaviors (read more: transformation);
  • Provide engaging content in oral forms that are relevant, relational, participatory, and connect at the heart level;
  • Deliver content through natural and contextual processes (read more: oral learners);
  • Rely on local and trusted grassroots networks; and
  • Utilize simple, low-cost audio and video technologies to deliver consistent training that can be scaled within multiple communities (read more: technology).
